Hello! My name is Lisa Skumpija, and I’m a realtor. I’m also a wife, mother, and proud member of the Chatham County community.
Chatham County has come a long way since my family moved here in 2002; we left the west coast seeking a small town with a tight-knit culture. I watched the Triangle grow both from its roots and from transplants like myself, and as my family and I became more involved in our community, I made a profound decision.
After 17 years in software sales and account management, I left. I became a realtor.
Housing and development propel communities forward. My husband has long been a successful general contractor, and I’ve seen how the work he does changes landscapes for the better. As a realtor, my goal is the same: I want to enable residents to make their mark on our communities through housing and development. It’s my job to listen to your needs, guide you through the homebuying process, and make your move as stress-free as possible.
To that end, I strive to always improve. I have obtained my Certified Residential Specialist – an achievement only 2% of realtors can claim – and also hold e-Pro, Performance Management Network, Certified Short Sale Specialist, and Accredited Buyer’s Representative designations. I strongly believe in ongoing training in many areas due to the everchanging online world of SEO and social media marketing. I proudly served on the Board of Women’s Council of Realtors for many years, and was named Local Chapter President for 2010 and State Treasurer for 2011. I also learn a lot about new construction from my husband, and consider it a specialty of mine!
But most of all, I look forward to learning from you. Every client has unique goals and my role is to help my clients reach those goals, a position I hold with pride. Whether you’re buying or selling, I look forward to helping you on your journey.
Yours Sincerely,
Lisa
