Fearrington Farmers Market
Pittsboro, North Carolina 27312
The Fearrington Farmers’ Market began in 1991 when a group of Fearrington Village residents banded together to create a place for farmers and consumers to meet — offering an attractive outlet for farmers and a source for fresh, high quality, locally-grown produce, plants, meats, baked goods, and home-canned goods for consumers.
As a “producer-only” market (meaning that the products are grown or baked or tended or preserved by the farms who bring them to market), the Fearrington Farmers’ Market supports small local growers, ranchers, and bakers by providing a direct outlet for their products and supporting the local economy.
It is open Tuesdays, from 4 pm to about 6 pm, the market is open to the public (people who live in Fearrington Village as well as anyone in the surrounding towns). Not all vendors are there every week, but some vendors are there every week from early April to the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
